In the early seventies of the 20th century, we began the first introduction of quality control and the first equipment and tools testing for the research and production of oil and gas. Through close and successful cooperation with the company Tuboscope Vetco which is part of the National Oil Varco group, we developed our services and knowledge by implementing the inspections a third party in facilities of significant world producers of pipes and drilling tools, among which are VOLZHSKY PIPE PLANT AND TAGANROG.
Today, the sector has three departments that provide inspection services of products in the following activities:
- oil and petrochemical industry
- mechanical engineering and metallurgy
All inspection methods are accredited by the Croatian Accreditation Agency.
Croatiainspect is the only inspection body in Croatia, and among the first in Europe, which obtained accreditation for the inspection/control of production equipment for oil and gas as well as for Non-Destructive Testing according to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17020: 2012. Based on the obtained accreditation we carry out the inspections as a type A inspection body or the inspection body of the highest level.
