The beginning of the company activities dates back in 1971 when the first office was founded in Zagreb as a part of Jugoinspekt system which was covering the entire area of former Yugoslavia.

 In 1987 the office separated from Jugoinspekt and was registered as an independent company named Jugokontrola

After establishment of the Republic of Croatia in December, 1990 the company has been acting under business name Croatiainspect.
